allotment

First days on the land
As you will see from Jack's video, we received the keys to the allotment last weekend. We have been allocated half a plot but there is a possibility we may have a full plot later. The plot is conveniently near a water tap and a loo-most useful !The first task was to get the shed back on its base ! and with Jack & Roger's carpentry skills, this was soon looking presentable. Packets of seeds, potato & onion sets have been purchased from the allotment shop and the digging over of the plot has begun. Once this is done the first planting will begin. Meanwhile the potatoes have been laid out in a frost free environment to begin sprouting.

A picture to inspire

Jenny Muncaster's paintings are sold througout the UK and abroad. Her paintings pocess a naive charm and are both quirky and colourful, imbuing a sense of joie de vivre. With an illustrative feel works often feature images sourced from travel, food, gardens, architecture and the sea>
